Conference Committees
Conference Committees are a big part in settling the differences between the two Houses of Congress. Whenever there are significant differences in the two version of a bill in the House of Representatives and the Senate, members from each House make a conference committee to settle the differences. These committees are important since only one bill can get sent to each the president, and both Houses of Congress have to approve the same bill.
