Interest Groups
Interest groups have an influence on which bills will and will not pass. They provide information to Congressmen on the subject of the bills. Lobbyists, people who try to influence legislation on behalf of an interest group, will try to persuade people to vote for or against a bill. They will use methods such as:
- Offering jobs
- Vacations
- Sports tickets
- Publicity
